I was recently suggested this past year that I may have KLS. I started to have episodes when I was about 16 or 17. Since than I have had about 6 to 7 episode. Things I have found out it is very hard to be diagnosed with KLS. I joined the military when I was 17 without a diagnoses and went on living life. By September of last year I had the worst episode yet. One and than another back to back within about 3 days. This is which I brought up to the military that I may have something. It took me 4 years and 1400 miles from home for someone to suggest this. Happens to be a doctors that actually had a KLS diagnosed person in his practice once before. Just letting others this is very hard to diagnose and may take a while I am 23 now and was diagnosed last year. Hoping this does not get me forced out the military.
