Have any of the KLS reporters experienced visions or hallucinations?  Does any reporter keep a dream log?  Has any reporter been hypnotized and if so, what was the result?  My own experience during episodes has included odd communications and visions.  Fortunately, my mantra is “don’t panic”.

Tyler has had hallucinations but they all seem to be from different meds.  Or so we thought anyway.  Who knows at this point.  He does have very vivid dreams (Nightmares) almost any time he goes to sleep, often talking or yelling in his sleep.  We’ve always assumed it was from the meds. 

I need to stop assuming things, I think.

My daughter used to for many many years. There were many contributing factors. The sleep factor was excessive REM, even in the daytime. She met the criteria for Narcolpesy in addition to the KLS.

Have you had a sleep study?

Also, inflammatory problems (she was found to have Celiac) and hormonal problems can contribute.
