Hi All,

My grandson was diagnosed with KLS in 2006 following a lengthy sleep episode.  Getting the right care for him is a bit of a problem since so few doctors know about KLS or how to treat it.  The doctor who helped in my grandson’s case is a psychologist who had studied KLS and was able to inform our neurologist who apologized for not having the information about it over the long period of his care.

Now we are looking for a doctor in our area who is knowledgeable about KLS.  A neurologist and nephrologist would be appreciated.

Thank you
Vanella for Miles

I am on the opposite coast but one of my best friends has worked in a few different hospitals throughout DC and VA so I have put in a call to her.  As soon as I hear from her I will ask her.  She may or may not know but it wouldn’t hurt to try, right?

As soon as I hit reply, she called back.  She is going to get me a list as soon as she can for you!  Take care and hopefully we can help.

Thank you so much for your assistance.  I will post what I get once I hear from your friend.
