KLS families are finding creative ways to remember the needs of the KLS Foundation at life cycle events.  Their efforts help further the mission of the KLS Foundation.

KLS foundation board member Dani Farber recently celebrated his wedding to Danielle Friedberg. The bride and groom made a donation to the KLS Foundation In honor of their wedding guests. A beautifully engraved note was placed beside each place setting informing the guest of the donation.

Last year the Fisch-Sabul family in San Diego, California sent out invitations for Lindsay’s Bat Mitzvah that included a note with the url for the KLS foundation and a request for donations in her honor. Lindsay raised over $1,000.00 for the Foundation this way, and she is so proud of her contribution, hoping along with her family that this important work will continue.

If you are planning a life event celebration like a wedding, baby naming, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, graduation or other milestone, please consider asking your guests to make a gift-donation to the KLS Foundation. Now that the KLS website has made tax deductible donations so easy this is a great way to make gift giving simple for your friends and family.
